1,000 Simple Questions About the Bible

I’m a reasonable man. But when I try to read the Holy Bible, I find it more bewildering than Alice’s Wonderland. I have chosen a series of quoted passages from the Bible which I find puzzling. I list them in essentially the same order as they appear in the book, noting chapter and verse. I invite the reader to try to answer the simple questions after each one.
